Two former Hereford United players scored for Forest Green Rovers in their 4-1 victory over Championship team Bristol City this evening.
In the first half Danny Carey-Bertram got himself on the score sheet and then late in the game Stuart Fleetwood scored.
Bristol City had sent a strong team, although without former Bull Michael McIndoe, to the Lawn and must be disappointed with the result. Their reporter at the game said it was a 'shocking scoreline'.
Forest Green supporters seem pleased with the arrival of Fleetwood. One said that he looked a 'great addition' to the squad. Another commented he had 'never seen as much pace in the conference'.
Forest Green Rovers are due to travel to Wesfields next Thursday evening 2nd August for another friendly. The kick-off is at 7.45pm.
