News Round Up

Torquay have lost the services of striker Marvin Williams after parent club Millwall recalled the player following injuries in their squad. Williams had played just twice for the club, scoring once, due to suspension. Simon Rayner, Ali John, and Dean Oliver will all stay with the club until the end of the season after extending their respective loans.

Boston boss Steve Evans has joined the chorus of complaints over Accrington avoidance of a points deduction: "If we'd have been in that position, we'd have lost points. Some people's faces fit at the Football League, and I don't hear too many conversations saying they want us in the League. They've set one hell of a precedent." Meanwhile, the club have failed to pay their players for March, promising the money will be paid nearly a week late.

Bury defender Chris Brass will miss the rest of the season after re-aggrivating his groin injury in Saturday's win at Boston. He was due for surgery in the summer, but it has been brought forward. Wrexham have extended the loan of midfielder Rob Garrett from Stoke until the end of the season.

Chester are reducing prices for all their final three home matches. Each game will see admission cut by £3, with a further £1 from every spectator donated to charity. Boston are to admit kids for a quid for all three of their final league games. Southport will go one better, giving free admission for their final home game of the season against Burton.

Cheltenham annouced a loss of £28,000 at their AGM on Monday night. The accounts did not cover the play-off final income but this seasons accounts are still expected to show a loss.
