Turner Tells Liaison Meeting: All White On The Night

Well, early evening at least. Graham Turner has told the monthly Liaison meeting that the Bulls hope to be wearing a new all-white kit for the final.

Rob Purdie, Tamika Mkandawire, and Simon Travis all missed training today, while Andy Williams limped out. However all are expected to make the final on Saturday.

The £16,000 LDV money has now been paid, but the club was unaware of any changes to the format to exclude Conference sides. More than one of the Bulls players named in the initial squad for the Four Nations championship had requested their withdrawal so they could have a break.

With the leases in place, there were no known problems with the stadium ahead of going for promotion. On ticket sales for the final, Joan Fennessey estimated sales to be around 4500 and that the club would 'play it by ear' over any more late night opening times.

It was also noted that every player out of contract under 24 had received a contract offer so the club would not lose them on a free transfer at the end of the season.
