With the sponsorship of the LDV Trophy at an end, and the trophy now known as the Football League Trophy, it appears that the competition will become just as it's name implies - a Football League trophy.
An article on the official Oxford site, giving Oxford fans info on the Conference, it states:
The LDV is no more, and will be the Football League Trophy, but Conference Clubs will not be involved.
Whether this is true remains to be seen, as such a decision is unlikely to be made before the various leagues AGMs in June.
