It was the same Parkins

It has been confirmed by Greensleaves, the excellent unofficial Yeovil Town website, that it was the same Michael Parkins who played for Yeovil in a friendly on Sunday as came on for Hereford last Saturday.

In an interview with manager Gary Johnson after the game, Greensleaves asked the following:

Qu: Any thoughts on the (two) trialists?

GJ: Yes I think they did enough for us to invite them back for training for next week. Michael has only just come back from a double hernia he got when he was at Cardiff so he looks like he's got a bit of training to do.

Qu: Those two we saw today both played yesterday at Hereford and Reading, so you've made allowances for that?

GJ: Exactly, that's why I took both of them off. The heat was unbelievable out there. But we got out of it what we came in here for.
