Turner should be on list
Today's Daily Telegraph has an article about managers who have been in charge for 1,000 or more games.
The list has eleven managers on it with Alec Stock who was at Bournemouth topping the list.
But there is no mention of Hereford United manager Graham Turner.
Using data from HU-FC.co.uk, Turner is beleived to have been in charge for about 1160 games up to the end of last season.
Add this seasons games, 17 so far not including friendlies, and his total comes to 1177. This figure puts him in fifth place in the list.
Turner has been managing clubs since 1978 and reached his 57th birthday last month. Tonights LDV game will be his 403rd for Hereford United.
Brian Horton, the Macclesfield boss, enters the list this evening with 1,000 games to his credit.
