It's a hard draw says Evans
The Boston manager, Steve Evans, has told this is Lincolnshire about being drawn against Hereford United in the next round of the FA Cup..
"It is a very hard draw for us," said Evans.
"I know Graham well and his side is a difficult proposition at home. They have a great record at Edgar Street. But if we can go there and produce our best then we have a great chance of going through."
Evans is likely to be missing top striker, Andy Kirk, for the game.
Kirk injured his hamstring in Saturday's 5-2 victory against Hornchurch and had to be replaced by Tom McManus in the 34th minute.
Belfast-born Kirk, who has scored eight goals in his last 10 games, is set to have a scan. But Pilgrims boss Steve Evans is hopeful his prized asset will be back in action soon.
"At worst he could be out for up to six weeks, which would be a blow because the boy has been magnificent recently," said Evans.
Meanwhile Shrewsbury Town have appointed Gary Peters, as their new manager. Peters, who has recently worked at Preston, will take up the post with immediate effect and takes over the position vacated following the resignation of Jimmy Quinn.
Peters had a distinguished playing career with Reading, Fulham and Wimbledon achieving promotion with both of these sides. He moved into management with spells as assistant manager at Fulham, Cambridge United and Preston North End. He became manager of Preston in 1994 turning a side around who were third bottom of Division Three and taking them to promotion two seasons later. He took over at Exeter City who had 13 games left and were 5-points a drift at the bottom, and managed to get 20-points from those final games.
Lastly former Hereford United player Jordan King could be returning to Telford from where he joined the Bulls.
Recently released from Redditch, he is due to play for the Bucks on Wednesday evening.
