Doncaster Rovers, currently eleventh in League One, are the visitors to Edgar Street for tonight's second round northern section LDV cup match. The game kicks off at 7.45pm.
It will be the first time ex Hereford United winger Michael McIndoe has played against the Bulls for Doncaster. McIndoe is rated one of Doncaster's best buys recently. He joined them after falling out with Yeovil, who had purchased the Scotsman from Hereford United.
Doncaster will be missing striker Leo Fortune-West, formerly with Cardiff, after he underwent knee surgery, while John Doolan begins a three-match suspension after being sent off against Peterborough last Saturday.
Midfielder Ricky Ravenhill returns from his three-match ban, but Simon Marples, Steve Foster and Mark Albrighton, who saw a specialist about a knee problem yesterday, remain on the sidelines.
Winger John Mcgrath is also available as his loan spell at Shrewsbury has ended.
Hereford United, who returned to winning ways last Saturday, are said to have no fresh injury problems, but Rob Purdie is expected to miss the game as he is still being troubled with a groin injury. Andy Tretton is also a doubt with the hamstring injury that kept him out last Saturday. However it is thought that he could be fit for Saturday's Barnet game.
Manager Graham Turner may give one or two squad players a game as he will be well aware that Saturday's home game against Conference leaders Barnet is one the Bulls need to get something from.
New goalkeeper, Craig Mawson, is expected to play some part in the match.
Meanwhile the gate tonight could be well under 2,000. With three home matches in eight days, many Bulls supporters simply can not afford to watch their club play every game. A much higher attendance is expected to see the Barnet game this weekend.
