Stanley wants to score more goals

Craig Stanley scored a superb goal against Scunthorpe last Tuesday and wants to increase his talley as soon as possible. The Bedworth born midfielder is determined to show Graham Turner that his signing was well worthwhile.

"I need to score more goals from midfielder really, that has been part of my game. I feel as though I'm improving in a few areas but I could do with chipping in with more goals and taking the pressure off the forwards." Stanley told the Evening News.

"I quite enjoyed the goal against Scunthorpe but the one at Gravesend was more important because we really needed a result after the way we had been struggling at home. It was a massive result and a bit of a turning point for us because we've won every game since."

"Things are going really well. I'm enjoying my football and I'm working with a great bunch of lads, great manager and great coach. What happened at Telford has certainly made me a stronger person and made me think that you can't take anything for granted."
