Relief at going through
Graham Turner, the Hereford United manager, told the Non-League Paper of his relief at going through to the first round of the FA Cup.
"My mind always goes back to a tie a few years ago when we were 2-0 up against Newport, Isle of Wight and then lost 3-2.
"So when the last five minutes should have been comfortable, they ended up nervous. But we had more than enough chances to win the game comfortably and the Radcliffe keeper did very well."
Meanwhile the Hereford United under 18 team lost away to West Brom 5-1 in a South Central Conference game yesterday.
