Gould extends stay
The loan signing of Johnathan Gould for another month has been confirmed by Graham Turner to Wyvern FM. It will be the third month that the Scottish goalkeeper has spent at Hereford, and maybe the most difficult. United have several difficult fixtures upcoming against the likes of Carlisle and Barnet.
Gould will be speaking to his employers at Preston North End about making the deal permanent in the next couple of weeks as he is understood not to want to leave things until the last minute, in case the deal falls apart. Graham Turner also mentioned that should Gould not sign on then his current understudy, Ben Scott, may be given a chance to impress.
There is some good news on the injury front. Ryan Green has began training again, as reported by Bulls News earlier this week. There is an outside chance that he might be fit enough for the trip to Accrington Stanley on Monday night. Jamie Pitman, though, will be out for at least a week as he is struggling with a back injury.
