Excellent Bulls following last night.
According to Accrington Stanley, 150 Hereford United supporters made to trip to the Interlink Stadium last night.
For a Monday night match covered by Sky, this is an excellent figure.
The total attendance was given as 1481. Last year when the fixture took place on a Tuesday night in November the gate was 1824.
Meanwhile a look in the archives for Graham Turner's comments after last seasons game shows them to be very similar to yesterdays.
"There was a bit more desire about the Accrington side. We had a chat in the dressing room about things and possibly we have to go back to some of the basics." Turner said last November.
"We were firing early season. We were working hard as a side. We were playing quite well. A lot of that has now gone. The fluency has gone out of the side and we have probably got to steer our way back into doing the basics right, defending right, starting to keep a few clean sheets and then using that as a base to go from."
Perhaps Hereford United have hit poorer form a month or so earlier this season than last. Hopefully it will soon come right again that much sooner.
