Uddin may leave Bristol
Another central defender who has spent some time on loan at Hereford United is likely to be looking for a new club shortly.
Anwar Uddin is amongst fifteen players whose contracts run out at Bristol Rovers.
Uddin came to Edgar Street last season for two months whilst Andy Tretton was injured. He also had a spell towards the end of the season at Telford.
Ian Atkins, recently appointed manager at Bristol Rovers, warned: "There are a lot of players here out of contract and some in contract who have got no future here - and they will be told that."
After returning to Bristol last February Uddin said: "I had a brilliant time at Hereford. I'm glad that I went. I felt that with two months of the season left, I'd had a good spell there and it was time to go back to Rovers.
"My contract is up at the end of the season and I want to give a good account of myself and see what happens,"
Uddin thanked Hereford for helping him regain match fitness. He said: "I played ten games for them and thoroughly enjoyed it.
"I didn't know much about the Conference before I went there, but I was impressed and it's a good standard. The training was good because Hereford are full-time. It's a good club and I'm glad I went."
