Brown is Master of Psychology

With a master of psychology as manager in Terry Brown, Aldershot will certainly not be found wanting today when it comes to increasing the pressure on their play-off semi-final opponents and overall favourites, Hereford reports the Daily Telegraph.

"Eat your heart out Fergie," said Brown with a smile for his audience as he outlined his team's chances for the second leg of their semi-final at Edgar Street. "The pressure is on Hereford, on their own ground in front of a large crowd," he said before, warming to his theme, he added: "I can see us scoring two or three times from set-pieces."

Aldershot's failure to capitalise on more set-pieces than a controversial penalty in Thursday's hard-fought 1-1 first-leg draw at the Recreation Ground was a disappointment for Brown, who will again be without suspended midfielder Adam Miller.

Steve Guinan's neck injury makes him a continued doubt for Hereford, who still managed 10 shots on target without their top scorer during the first leg. Most of them were saved by Nikki Bull, who will be hoping to improve on his previous visit to Edgar Street last August when he fell out with Brown at half-time and was pulled off during his team's 4-3 defeat.
