Hereford will play a behind closed doors friendly at Edgar Street sometime today.
That's about all we know other than supporters can't go and watch.
No idea who it might be against.
No idea what time it starts.
No idea if any trialists might be involved.
What we do know is that Hereford will have had two Saturday's without a match recently and there is the possibility of another one in a few weeks time as the next round of the FA Cup takes place on Saturday November 7th.
Currently Hereford are away at Chorley on that date.
Whether that goes ahead will depend on the result of Chorley's FA Cup tie at Worcester this afternoon or possibly any replay.
Whatever the result is one thing is certain, going out of the Cup at Stafford has cost Hereford thousands of pounds.
Away trips to Morecambe and probably Chorley on cold Tuesday nights won't entice as many Hereford supporters to make the trip as on a Saturday afternoon.
And not being able to bring a Tuesday night game forward to this afternoon, despite every effort to do so, has not helped the club's coffers.
Hopefully there won't be a fixture back log for Hereford as there was last season but something needs to be done to help stop club's having no games on a Saturday afternoon when attendances are at a higher level than a Tuesday evening.
