Marine's director of football is leaving the club after seven years in charge. Neil Young said that after careful consideration he had decided to step down from the role. 'As a team, we have regularly punched above our weight and overcome the odds, which has lead us to win so many big matches, and achieve so much success.'
Three Brackley players, right-back Tyler Lyttle and midfield pair Morgan Roberts and Scott Pollock have turned down new contracts with the club. 'We offered them deals but they decided that they wanted to play at the highest level they could, so credit to them,' said chairman Matt Wise.'It’s a short career being a footballer and they’ve got to do what they feel is right for them.'
Hereford held a fans forum on Friday evening. Reportedly manager Aaron Downes said he hoped to have three players coming in on loan and two others on trial. But he could not confirm the names of the loan players until later next month. A recording of the forum may be available on line but it's not yet known when that might be.
