News Round Up

Jonathan Gould is joining Robbie Savage’s 1st Team coaching staff at Forest Green Rovers as set-piece and goal-keeping coach. Gould played for Hereford United 15 times whilst on loan from Preston at the start of the 2004/05 season. Recently he has been coaching in New Zealand.

Barrow have signed 29 year old defender Kennedy Digie from Tamworth. Digie joined Hereford from Guiesley in October 2020. He left at the end of that season and joined Altrincham. Barrow will be his 13th club. Manager Adam Murray said 'He's established at this level. When you look at his defending data, he's one of the highest at this level. He's a Captain and a massive personality.'

Tamworth is now owned by an American company, Dawn Group International whose chairman is Abdullah Ashraf. Only 24 years old he says he will be very hands on and will be flying over frequently to watch his new team. “I guarantee that I will do everything in my power to push Tamworth Football Club to new heights.”

Former Hereford defender Mitch Hancox has joined Morpeth following a loan spell at the club last season. Now 32 he was with Spennymoor last season but failed to play regularly for the National North club.
