Hereford manager Aaron Downes knows that to have any realistic chance of avoiding relegation, his side need to win their game against Radcliffe this afternoon.
"First and foremost we have to win one (Radcliffe) and then see what happens," Downes told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We are putting all our effort and focus into one football match to win that and see where that takes us.
"It takes us to Tuesday night. If we get the win today we go again on Tuesday night.
"If we get that win (Marine) then it takes us down to the last game of the season.
"Who knows what could happen between now and the Peterborough game.
"I know all the permutations that could happen but I'm trying my hardest to focus the players on us, others will do what they need to do.
"Unfortunately it's gone from being within our hands to now not.
"If results go our way and we win this afternoon, then it becomes back in our hands."
