Paul Caddis knows that King's Lynn are not safe from relegation unless they win at Chester tomorrow. A draw might be enough but that will depend on results elsewhere.
"It’s good knowing what we’ve got to do and we have to go and look after ourselves," he said as reported by the Lynn News.
"It’s not a great thing we’re in this situation, so we have to go there and get a positive result.
"You can’t set up to play for a point, you always have to set up to win a game of football and that’s exactly what we’re going to try to do.
"We’re going to try and be tough to beat. We understand Chester are in the play-offs and they will want to win as well to maintain that.
"It’s a game that we’ll have to go and show a little bit of grit and go and do what we have to do.
"If we go and win, we stay in the division and if Chester go and lose, they’re out of the play-offs.
"Let’s be honest, you’d want to be in Chester’s situation and not in our situation, so there’s probably more pressure on us to stay in the division, but we’ve got to try and take that away from the players.
"I’ll take all that. I’ll take all the criticism just to get the best opportunity for the players to go onto the pitch with a clear mind and go and try to win the game."
