Reserves Will Cover Drainage Work Said Ammonds

During the Hereford chairman Chris Ammonds's post forum interview with BBC Hereford and Worcester, mention was made of the finances at the club given the work required to improve the drainage on the pitch and the costs of having to play games elsewhere if need be.

"The big lesson for me, and should be for many others, is that things that have gone on this year that are out of our control in terms of the pitch is why you need to make sure that you have a solid bank of reserves tucked away," said Ammonds.

"The vast majority of the work that's going, hopefully we will be able to get some support grant funding for it, that's normally up to 70% so we've still got 30% to find.

"Because of the hard work that's been done over the past two years by lots of people we do have adequate reserves for a business of our size so we are not under any pressure like we may have been in the past."
