Heavy rain set to batter Hereford - putting Tuesday's game into doubt

Another Hereford game is at risk of postponement with heavy rain set to hit overnight.

While Storm Chandra is set to cause more disruption to other parts of the UK, Herefordshire is still forecast to be hit badly.

A yellow weather warning for rain is in place for the county from 1pm today (Monday) until 10am tomorrow (Tuesday). It looks like the worst of the weather will be overnight.

The forecast means that tomorrow night's game against Oxford City is at a real risk of being called off, especially when you consider how many home games have already been postponed.

The last was just last Saturday, with the game against Spennymoor being the only one called off in National League North.

Hereford have only played 22 league games, with just nine being at home. They are currently five points off safety but with six games in hand of Oxford, who are just outside the relegation zone.
