Campbell's parting message: I have every faith in Caddis and his players

Remaye Campbell has issued a parting message as he leaves Edgar Street to join National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.

Campbell said he was "absolutely buzzing" to join the promotion-chasing outfit. According to Bulls' chair Chris Ammonds, the striker, who joined Hereford from Matlock last February, wanted to progress talks over the "long-term security" on offer.

In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), Campbell said: "Where do I start? From my debut at King's Lynn, I felt like I was part of the Hereford family.

"I want to thank the fans for welcoming me and showing constant support, home and away. You have been unbelievable.

"I want to thank all the players I've played with this season and last, I have truly made some friends for life and it has been the best changing room I have been a part of.

"And to the gaffer, he has been so good to me and for me. I can't thank him enough.

"I have every faith that the group of players alongside the manager and his staff will go on a huge run and get the club up the table."

Campbell’s move brings his spell with the Bulls to an end, with Hereford now continuing their search to strengthen the squad ahead of a demanding run of fixtures.
