Sam Osborne has been named Hereford FC's player of the month for October and also bagged the goal of the month award.
After his loan spell at Peterborough Sports ended, King's Lynn Town's 22-year-old forward Theo Williams has joined step three side Gainsborough Trinity. A former Sheffield United youngster, he has previously spent time on loan at Darlington and Farsley Celtic. He went on to join Fleetwood Town permanently in July 2023, making his league debut the following August.
Also at King’s Lynn Town, they head back to The Walks this weekend in a buoyant mood after a five-game unbeaten run under returning boss Ian Culverhouse. The revival — 11 points from 15 — has lifted Lynn away from relegation worries ahead of Chester’s visit.
Midfielder Morgan Williams says confidence is surging, with Adam Marriott back among the goals and the squad showing new resilience after previously “crumbling” in games. Chester are unbeaten in six, and Lynn haven’t beaten them in eight attempts, but Culverhouse believes momentum is now firmly with his side.
AFC Telford United have bolstered their squad with the signing of versatile midfielder Edward Elewa-Ikpakwu. The 24-year-old joins as a free agent after impressing in recent training sessions, with boss Kevin Wilkin saying he “might now get an opportunity” to show what he can do in games.
Formerly of Lancaster City, Hyde United and Colne, Elewa-Ikpakwu offers cover across midfield and defence. Born in Port Harcourt and raised in England, he brings experience and flexibility to the Bucks’ squad.
AFC Telford United have confirmed that former Hereford defender Orrin Pendley is facing a lengthy spell out after a setback in his recovery from an ankle injury sustained in September.
A recent scan showed the issue is not healing as hoped, and surgery is one option — a move that could rule him out for the rest of the season. Boss Kevin Wilkin said Pendley’s absence “hurts us” given his experience and leadership, with the club pledging further updates as they await specialist advice.
