Tribute To Colin Addison On Saturday

 

There will be a one minute tribute to former Hereford United manager Colin Addison before Saturday's game at Edgar Street.

"We did the one minute applause last Saturday as our initial tribute," said club chairman Chris Ammonds.

"This Saturday we will do something more specific to Colin pre-match, whether that is a silence or a minute applause we haven't quite decided that.

"Looking ahead we'll be linking in with the family and making an approach to the family that further down the line we will be looking at having a match that we actually pay tribute to Colin and dedicate a match to Colin and invite family and friends and former players to the game to really pay tribute to the massive impact he had on Hereford United and football in general.

"I was blown away by the number of tributes from so many different clubs that there were to Colin after the sad news last Friday.

"It just showed the esteem in which he was held in the entire football world."
