Peterborough Sports are considering going full time according to their manager Phil Brown.
After their 3-0 win over Radcliffe last Saturday Brown revealed the thinking behind the idea in a post-match interview.
At present, like Hereford, they train once or twice a week and most of the players have full time jobs.
Tim Woodward, the owner and chairman of Sports, already puts a lot of money into the club. And to go full time would mean a considerable investment on his part.
"There have been talks behind the scenes with the chairman about becoming a full-time club, but it might be a couple of years down the line yet," said manager Brown.
"The staff are certainly up for it.
"There is a lot to go through though like rewriting players’contracts."
Currently their average gate is 331.
Meanwhile Sports continued their good run of form on Tuesday evening with a 3-1 win over Bedford Town.
