New Owners For Kings Lynn

King's Lynn has new owners.

Turn Sports Investments (TSI) are now in charge and former chairman Stephen Cleeve  is no longer involved with the running of the club.

This from Kings Lynn:

King’s Lynn Town Football Club confirms that Turn Sports Investments (TSI) has completed its acquisition of the club.

This milestone marks the beginning of a New Era for the Linnets. The club will move forward on a foundation of partnership, transparency and genuine community leadership. As part of the new ownership structure, the Blue and Gold Supporters’ Trust has also acquired a shareholding, strengthening supporter representation and placing the community at the centre of the club’s long-term direction.

TSI has stepped in as a responsible custodian to stabilise the club in the short term. This New Era is focused not only on securing the present but also on building a sustainable and community-rooted club that can thrive long after the investors complete their custodianship. TSI intends to relinquish its role once the right structures are in place.

Immediate priorities include:

  • Deepening community and supporter involvement in key decisions
  • Strengthening sustainable and transparent financial management
  • Reinforcing local partnerships, volunteer networks and participation
  • Rebuilding football, community and operational structures for long-term resilience
  • Co-creating a shared vision for the future with supporters

CEO Bal Srai said:
“Today is a turning point for King’s Lynn Town Football Club. TSI has stepped in to protect the club and give us the space we need to rebuild responsibly. Long-term sustainability will only be achieved if the community stands together with us.

The introduction of the Blue and Gold Supporters’ Trust as shareholders is a significant milestone. It reflects our commitment to ensuring supporters are true partners in shaping the club’s future. This is the beginning of a New Era built on collaboration, ambition and community pride, with supporters, volunteers, local partners and club leadership working side by side to build a stronger and more resilient future for the Linnets.

Our goal is clear. We aim to safeguard the club’s future and create the conditions for long-term success. We are custodians rather than permanent owners and our responsibility is to ensure that when we pass the baton on, we do so to a club strengthened by community ownership, engagement and pride.”

To support this commitment, a Fans’ Forum will take place on Thursday 4 December at the Docherty Walks Stadium. Supporters will have the opportunity to hear directly from the leadership team, ask questions and contribute to the early priorities for this New Era. This will be the first of several engagement events designed to place supporters closer to the heart of decision-making.

The club also confirms that it is not pursuing any commercial initiatives with previous owner Stephen Cleeve. He has no formal involvement with the club going forward and has written off his director’s loan.
