Earlier today Hereford Women travelled to Broseley in the FA Cup 2nd round qualifiers.
Both teams started brightly with tier seven Broseley trying to exert pressure with plenty of aggression but it was Hereford who opened the scoring on 8 minutes when Millie Griffiths playing down the left wing stepped past her marker and sent a curling left foot shot that looped over the keeper and into the opposite top corner.
On 13 minutes Maisie Evans made it 0-2 with a low drive that went under the out rushing keeper.
Broseley were forced into a change on 28 minutes when their keeper bravely challenged Tianna Chants effort that only found the side netting.
Hereford made it 0-3 on 44 minutes as Sheree Smith found the back of the net after breaking away from a Broseley attack.
HT Broseley 0-3 Hereford
Second half Hereford started brightly making it 4, again Sheree Smith beat the excellent off side trap to loop a long ball over the keeper who was well off her line.
Mylie Jordan extended the lead to 0-5 on 67 minutes after a long spell of Hereford control.
Robyn Mear then got on the score sheet making it 6, breaking the line and looping the keeper as Smith had done earlier.
A great assist from substitute Chelsey Price set Tianna Chant on her way to make it 0-7.
Following wholesale changes Hereford did concede in the dying moments from a corner which bounced around in the box before nestling in the net.
Hereford's back line and keeper looked well organised and solid making it difficult for their opponents to carve out many clear efforts on goal
A good afternoons work against a physical and strong opponent.
So Hereford are in the draw for the next round.
