According to the National League North club, where Quansah had been for the past three seasons, had had become a favourite amongst the fans for his reliability and consistent performances. He also picked up the Staff & Football Committee Player of the Season, for the 2023-24 season.
Speaking on his departure, Quansah said: “I want to thank everyone at Southport from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to support me throughout the years. From the staff I’ve worked with and come into contact with, to all the fans. I wish everyone at the club all the success and luck next season.”
Southport's chief operating officer Andy Burgess commented “We wish Keenan every success as he moves on to pastures new. He has been a pleasure to have at the Club. His professionalism and dedication has been second to none. Good luck, Keenan.”
