First new signing of the summer as Caddis brings in defender

Quansah, middle, playing against Hereford for Southport

Hereford manager Paul Caddis has brought in the first new face of the summer as former Southport defender Keenan Quansah signs.

Having made 45 appearances over the past three seasons at fellow National League North side Southport, Quansah started his career at Accrington Stanley and also played for Stalybridge Celtic.

Bulls boss Paul Caddis said his new man is 6ft 3in and is comfortable across the back line.

He said: "A physical and athletic player, he’s someone who has a desire to continuously improve, and he brings the ingredients we love at our club.

“It is important we are particular in our recruitment and having players who can adapt to different positions helps with the tools we have available; Keenan ticks all of those boxes."
