Difficult times at Gateshead.
FIFA have placed a registration ban on the club and several key people at the club have quit.
Currently they are unable to sign players.
Leaving the club are chairman Neil Pinkerton, manager Carl Magnay (who is now manager of South Shields), club captain Greg Olley, club doctor Ross Floyd and head of recruitment Luke Clark.
Also gone are several scouts who were working for Magnay.
The registration ban appears to related to a transfer which took place two seasons ago.
“We are aware of the situation and are currently in contact with the relevant authorities in order to resolve the issue, which we are confident will have no effect on our plans for the upcoming season," said a spokesperson for the club.
