Work to install the new floodlight pylons at Edgar Street will commence next week.
"It's been quite an on-going saga as we all know when you consider that work actually started to install them last October," said club chairman Chris Ammonds.
"Then they had to stop because of the level of water that was in the ground at that point.
"Work is due to start on site on Monday starting with the two new pylons at the Meadow End.
"Once that is complete then doing the floodlights at the Blackfriars End.
"They are starting at the Meadow End because they need access across the pitch with the machinery to dig the holes and fill the concrete and everything.
"Once that is completed they will be off the pitch and then Ben Bowen can start his work with the pitch refurb for the summer."
