Hereford manager Paul Caddis has been speaking about the difficulties of long distances to away games on Tuesday evenings.
This evening the Bulls are away at Peterborough Sports, in a few weeks time it's even further with a game at Needham Market.
"We had Leamington on a Saturday, we could have played them on a Tuesday night," said Caddis speaking to BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"I don't like to put that added pressure on full time clubs because they've obviously got the pressure of being full time and the expectation that they should be up the top of this division regardless because of the amount of time they get on the pitch. And when you're full time it comes with a decent budget etc.
"Full time clubs, the lads don't have jobs.
"It is what it is.
"We were really appreciative of Needham managing to change the date of the game but unfortunately that feel short with the weather so we're to them on a Tuesday night.
"I don't want to make excuses, there's a fine line between excuses and reality.
"That is a reality, we've got players who are struggling to make Tuesday night even at times with training.
"Our training times on a Tuesday are 6.30 tp 8.00pm so trying to get in on time for training is difficult. I've got players who travel from different distances.
"So there are challenges all the time.
"But we find ourselves with 22 games to play.
"I know we started the season really well, we went second and I know the football is all about here and now but trust me to be in this position at this point in this season is a remarkable effort from the players.
"We need to get a run of positive results."
