Jason Cowley is pleased to be back playing for Hereford after a long lay-off.
Yesterday he started for the Bulls, was involved in the build up for their first goal and scored their second one.
On top of that he was chosen as the man of the match.
Afterwards he spoke to the local media.
"It was a good feeling," he said.
"It's been a long time and in mid-week I was poorly.
"I was just buzzing to get a start today and score one.
"My first start of the season, it's been long time, it's been frustrating but I'm happy I'm back and hopefully back to stay back."
Cowley played his part in the first goal managing a pass to Matwasa who moved to Bartley to score.
"It was good to start the way we did, get out the blocks quick and get the fans going behind us, the fans were class today. You could hear the roar.
"It just makes the whole place a better place to play when you're 1-0 up inside the first minute."
Cowley's goal came on fifteen minutes.
"I saw it coming, I thought I'd hit it too well but I was glad that I had scored."
A good team performance after Tuesday night's home defeat.
"It was a tough midweek game but we trained well on Thursday and started brightly, which always helps, and at half time I thought we've got to push on and try and get some more goals.
"We knew the first fifteen was going to be tough so we brightly and scored another two goals with two players coming off the bench which helps for the team. Hopefully everyone can chip in."
How frustrating has it been for you this season?
"Very. I just want to help the team and play in front of the fans and show what I can do, I'm not a good watcher. Even when I'm watching I'm shouting.
"I just want to keep playing and keep fit."
Cowley has seen two different specialists who appear to have given him different advice about his injury. The striker followed the second one.
"He just said do your re-hab, so I've got a re-hab programme and then the re-hab worked and I was pain free. I feel good now, I feel strong."
Cowley spent much of the first half of last season out with an injury.
"I don't have much luck. I couldn't help it this time. I got my head down trying to do as much re-hab even though my head wasn't in the right place. I got through it and the lads got behind me and now I'm back playing and I'm happy.
"I've got some catching up to do on Willo."
Andy Williams also scored yesterday.
"He makes us what we are, we are a team.
"I come off, he comes on, he scores, we both score, we're all happy, everyone goes home happy."
