After yesterday's friendly Hereford manager Paul Caddis was asked about those players who were not involved in the game.
"Ceesay, pictured, is not our player," said Caddis.
"He wasn't here today, he had something else on. Obviously we still have an interest but without going into too much detail.
"Ceesay made it aware he wanted to play abroad and I was fine with that.
"He knows that we are interested, we like him, he knows he is loved here, he wants to be here now that opportunity might not arose for him.
"There was never a case of sitting down and offering him a contract as we were very open and honest from the start.
"There's no point offering someone a contract who wants to look elsewhere.
"That's not him saying he doesn't want to be here, he gets wants to get better for his family and go and play abroad, which we were fine with.
"Skinner will be touch and go for the start of the season, probaly won't make the start of the season because there are not enough games to try and get him up to speed.
"Monty is one of those ones if it was November, December he would be playing but it's pre-season, we're trying to learn from last season, I say learn we didn't over do it with Cowls. But there's no need for him to get strapping ankles up to get through pre-season games.
"We'll try and get him back on the training pitch this week, if not next, to try and get him up to match sharpness.
"Chay just felt his adopter last week at half time so we didn't want to take any risks. Again another one who possibly could have got through but better managing him. Again that fine line of keeping the players safe and fit."
