Former Hereford winger Ryan McLean is unlikely to feature for AFC Wimbledon until the New Year.
He suffered an ACL injury late last season.
"You’re looking at the turn of the year or Christmas before he’s available to play," said Wimbledon head coach Johnnie Jackson.
“It was a nasty old injury.
“He’s doing well with his rehab. He had the operation a while ago and has been cracking on with his rehab.
“We will get him a holiday at some stage. He was in through the summer because it was post-surgery and doing the stuff he needed to do.
“We will give him a holiday at some stage before he comes back and steps it up again.”
To help his recovery McLean may go out on loan.
