Full Time At Stourbridge

Two Goals For Jason Cowley

Tonight's pre-season friendly finished:

Stourbridge 0  Hereford 3

Hereford were 2-0 up at the break.

Hereford manager Paul Caddis made four changes at the break bringing on Campbell, Howkins, Williams, and Babos and taking off Cowley, Preston, D'Ath and Matwasa.

Andy Williams scored Hereford's third goal on 64 minutes.

Attendance 537 with maybe 50 following Hereford.

'Caddis made changes at the break with Williams playing up front and Babos just behind with Rooney.

And three at the back with Howkins coming on in the center of defence.

Babos orchestrated the half very nicely regularily feeding Hisham who got some good balls across.

Williams scored a lovely goal. Great inter-change between him and Babos. Both finding space in the box and finding each other cleverly to make the goal.

Far less from Stourbridge who didn't seem as effective without Freemantle on the pitch.

The fact that Hereford only scored one goal in the second half was not a reflection on how dominate Hereford were.

Preston looked solid in defence, Burroughs brings the ball foward well.

It was good to see Hereford can adjust and play different systems if need be.

An enjoyable evening with good hospitality from Stourbridge.

A nice comfortable victory for Hereford.

Next another friendly, this one at Halesowen on Saturday.
