The centre-back made 35 appearances for Hereford last season after two years out of the game due to an ACL injury.
The 28-year-old former West Brom and Newport County player, who has had loan spells at clubs including Mansfield Town, Port Vale and Solihull Moors, became a staple in Hereford's defence for much of the season.
Speaking to the official club website, boss Paul Caddis said: “I have the upmost respect and admiration for his mental strength and toughness. He is a big presence for us and a real popular person in and around the dressing room.
"I am delighted to spend another year with Kyle and he will be an important part of the team for the season ahead.”
