Jay Stansfield is the new patron of the Adam Stansfield Foundation.
"It was an obvious choice" said Andrea Parkin, Foundation Trustee and Adams sister.
"Ads used to get involved off the field with charities and good causes, so to see Jay interacting with some of the young people we support and work with is not surprising.
"He’s a natural and is showing many of the traits and attributes that made Adam such a favourite with the fans and supporters."
Since the Foundations inception in 2010, following Adam's passing (from bowel cancer), an incredible £400,000 has been raised with the help of some fantastic supporters, completing outrageous and demanding challenges.
The kindness and generosity have been overwhelming, reflecting Adams popularity amongst fans in Yeovil, Hereford and Devon.
As a Foundation they have been able to reach over 50,000 young people in football clubs, Secondary Schools and Primary Schools across the three Counties.
