Rushall Olympic manager Liam McDonald says that his team are looking forward to playing at Hereford tomorrow evening.
Last Saturday Rushall drew at Curzon Ashton.
“We’re learning all of the time and adapting, as we did on Saturday, and now we look forward to the experience coming up at Hereford," said McDonald.
“We know that it will be tough, but we’ll go there and give it a go.
“It was a deserved point at the weekend; we were probably the better team overall. I thought that we were okay in the first half; they scored from a set-play which was disappointing, but then after the break we moved the ball well and scored a fantastic goal.
“I was pleased with the performance. We dealt with the late pressure that we came under well and, as I say, fully deserved to get something out of the game.
“We are proud to have our first point on the board at Step 2 and now we have to be able to go and build on it.”
Young West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper, Brad Foster, was brought in on loan on the eve of the game.
“His kicking and handling was very good,” added McDonald. “He showed a good attitude and is a young lad with a lot of potential. That said, I also felt that our back-line protected him well and restricted the number of chances that Curzon Ashton had.”
