A win is a win but Hereford manager Paul Caddis was quick to praise Rushall after last night's game.
"I thought we were poor," said Caddis.
"I thought Rushall were much better than us.
"I'll look back at the game and make my mind up where it went wrong.
"I'm not going to critcise these players. I just said to them after the game there are 22 new players who have been together for eight weeks.
"We've been away to Kings Lynn, long travel, home to Darlington, massive crowd and then home tonight when the pressure is on us to go and win the game.
"We've taken seven points from three games, so let's not get too gloomy. It's not a bad trait to play poor and win."
Keith Hall then asked about Jason Cowley who was not in the squad.
"I was honest when I said a few weeks ago that he's struggling and he still is.
"He didn't quite pass the test that we were expecting him to tonight so he didn't play.
"It's an impact and not what it was beforehand so we're hopeful it will be alright."
Cowley was missed.
"I think he inspires the crowd so we miss him, of course we miss him.
"But we are a squad, we can't just rely on Cowley.
"As I said we were poor tonight but we won the game."
