We Can't Hit A Barn Door At The Moment Said Gowling

Another disappointing performance by the Bulls this afternoon with just three shots on target in the game at Farsley Celtic.

"We can't hit a barn door at the moment, can we," said manager Josh Gowling in his post match interview.

"The amount of times the ball flashed across the six yard box just needing someone to tap it in who weren't there was criminal. That's what cost us in the end."

Jack Holmes was brought on late in the box and his introduction gave hope to the Hereford supporters that a draw might just happen as it looked quite lively.

Why doesn't he get a start?

"Because of the system and the way we're playing and it was the last ten minutes.

"After they scored we pretty much dominated the whole game.

"But at the end of the day if we are not going to score we need to make changes.

"It wasn't Ryan's day today, that's why we brought Jack Holmes on.

"Again the amount of times we put in the box and we don't want to have the desire to get onto the end of things and put it in the back of the net is very frustrating for me because we were creating good opportunities.

"There were a couple even after they scored. Levi came down the right hand side and flashed the ball across the six yard box and there's three people at the edge of the box, so, yes.

"We're dominating possession and creating chances so it's not like we are just kicking the ball and not creating anything. We are creating loads of chances but at the end of the day if you haven't got anyone to put the ball in the back of the net those chances don't mean a lot.

"So you come to Farsley and lose 1-0 because you don't have someone just tapping the ball in the six yard box.

"It's something we've got to adjust and quickly."
