HUST failed in their efforts to get a fourth director on the Hereford FC board this evening.
Their resolution failed to get a 75% majority.
Voting was for the resolution 306,000 (52.9%)
Against 259,000
There was a turnout of 97.8%.
In essence HUST's motion was supported by a number of independent supporters but none of the initial investors.
In the absence of chairman Jon Hale, vice-chairman Peter Churchus took the meeting. Mike Langford and Tony Taylor were also on top table.
Around a dozen shareholders attended.
HUST chairman Richard Tomkins said a few words to support their resolutions. Then a couple a points from the floor before the vote.
Afterwards Tomkins said he was disappointed but not surprised at the result of the vote.
