Hereford's conveyor belt of chairmen

Hereford are now looking for another chairman after it was announced that Jon Hale has stepped down.

Hale was in his second tenure at the club after initially becoming the club's first chairman in 2015. In his first spell, Hereford gained promotion from the Midland League as well as reaching the final of the FA Vase.

However, Hale stepped down in October 2016 after a new commercial he was launching in the sports retail industry would 'cause a conflict of interest'.

Vice-chairman Chris Williams temporarily took on the role before Ken Kinnersley stepped up on a permanent basis in January 2017. Kinnersley would remain in the post for over two years, but decided to retire in June 2019.

Andrew Graham replaced Kinnersley, however expanding business interests means that he stood down in November 2020.

The next Hereford chairman was Rob Crawford, but in was in the position for just six months, stating that that ability to communicate across all platforms was 'not an area that he enjoyed'.

Hale was in his second spell as chairman for 20 months.
