With both Tyrone Barnett and Miles Storey injuried, Hereford manager Josh Gowling could be without a striker for the game against Chester which, weather permitting, is set to take place on Tuesday evening.
He could start Aaron Amadi-Holloway but if he does that he will then be without a central defender.
Barnett is recovering from an ankle injury sustained at Pegasus last Tuesday and Storey pulled up with what looked to be a hamstring strain in the second half of yesterday's game at Buxton.
"Tyrone has done his ankle so he's going to be a couple of weeks," said Gowling.
"It is what it is.
"We thought he was okay. He came into training on Thursday and he said he struggled to get upstairs.
"He felt a little pop in his ankle which he thought was a bit of an air pocket. After he was fine, no problem walking.
"But the next day when he woke up it started stiffening up again and was a bit sore.
"He came in training Thursday and he said it wasn't right.
"It's unfortunate as he would probably have come in and started today.
"I don't think he'll be fit for a couple of games."
Which leaves Gowling short.
"We might be knocking on the door of the youth team to get a couple in.
"We just don't have the means to bring anyone in.
"We adapted today playing Dan (Jarvis) but he is a midfielder. We just played him off Miles today and then when Miles has gone off Ryan has gone up there.
"It's why I was really pleased about the performance today because if you look at it after Miles went off we didn't have a natural number nine on the pitch as Aaron was playing centre half.
"We haven't got a centre half to put Aaron up top so we have got to be set up to solid and organised first and foremost.
"Aaron played at the back today because we hadn't got a centre half to play at the back.
"And now we've had as striker injury. I don't know, we'll see."
Defender Zac Lilly was named on the bench.
"But he hasn't played for three months, he's trained twice so he's not up to speed to start. He's not a Lloydy."
