Keeper Eve Joins Bedford

Hereford goalkeeper Dale Eve has joined Bedford Town on dual registration terms.

A move for Eve was expected as he was left out of last Sunday's game at Kidderminster. No doubt one of the reasons was to help cut the budget.

This from Bedford Town FC:

'Bedford Town Football Club is delighted to welcome the signing of Dale Eve. The 27 year old goalkeeper has joined on dual registration terms from Hereford FC. We would like to thank everyone at Edgar Street for assisting with the registration this week.

Eve started his career in his home country of Bermuda. He played for his local side Dandy Town, before relocating to England and being spotted by Derby County. Following this youth agreement, Eve then went on to play for Stoke City on a two year development term back in June 2011, when they were in the Premier League. Whilst at Stoke, Eve made his international debut for Bermuda at the age of 16, making him the Potters youngest ever international player. '

Jon Taylor, who was Hereford manager when Tommy Agombar took over the club, is part of a consortium that own Bedford.
