When Hereford played Portsmouth in the first round of the FA Cup, the club were in decent form having claimed successive wins over AFC Fylde and Curzon Ashton.
And that was clearly evident during the first half as a Miles Storey goal saw the Bulls go into half time deservedly in front. Hereford eventually lost 3-1, with Josh Gowling's side unable to maintain their performance in the second half.
However, since that defeat on November 4, Hereford have only won once in the league, and that was at bottom club AFC Telford. The club also crashed out of the FA Trophy at the first time of asking at lower-graded Heybridge.
