Fans call for Gowling's head as Bulls teeter towards relegation zone

Many fans are calling for Hereford manager Josh Gowling's head this evening following the Bulls' loss to Kidderminster in the derby match at Edgar Street.

The 1-0 defeat - courtesy of Jack Bearne's 24th minute goal - means that Gowling's side are now just one point above the relegation zone with 25 points from 21 games.

Hereford do have games in hand over many sides; however they are now 11 points off the play-offs. The Bulls go to Kidderminster on New Year's Day before hosting third-placed Scarborough in January 7. Another home game then follows third days later when Hereford entertain Farsley Celtic, who are third bottom.

There were loud boos at the final whistle today, with many fans calling for Gowling to go. A number of people have also taken to social media to vent their frustration.

Post-match reaction is due to follow shortly...
