Jason Ainsley has been confirmed as Spennymoor's new manager. He had been in temporary charge for the last three weeks since Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley left by mutual consent.
It's a return for Ainsley who had been manager until December 2020 when Tommy Miller was appointed.
“In Jason we have someone who is vastly experienced in the role and who has previously brought great success to the club, so it’s fantastic seeing him back at the helm," said Spennymoor's Chief Executive Brad Groves.
Spennymoor are 16th in the league and out of the FA Cup.
