Scarborough and Peterborough Sports promoted to NLN

Scarborough Athletic and Peterborough Sports will compete in National League North next season after winning their respective play-off finals.

Scarborough saw off Warrington Town 2-1 in the Northern Premier League Premier Division Final, while Peterborough Sports beat Coalville 2-0 in a feisty Southern Premier League Central Division encounter.

The second half of that match was delayed due to crowd trouble.

Meanwhile, Farnborough and Cheshunt won their respective play-off finals to gain promotion to National League South.
