Hereford manager Josh Gowling spoke to the local media after his side's 1-0 victory over Telford thanks to another goal from Tom Owen-Evans.
"It wasn't pretty especially first half but we got there in the end," said Gowling.
"I think we turned down a lot of opportunities to kill the game off to be honest.
"I think we had a couple in the first half and two real clear cut chances in the second half where we should have had a bit more composure and the game would have been dead. Then we're hanging on at the end of the game.
"We're not free-flowing at home at the moment for whatever reason, we are away.
"The crowd were excellent today, they got us going all game, chering, clapped us off at the end, really appreciate them for that."
Tom Owen-Evans led the line for the majority of the game.
"Our number nines don't always get goals but when you've got someone in the team who gets sixteen. Sometimes our number nines facilitate our wide men, Ryan has seven, Miles has got seven, Toey has got sixteen now.
"I know there's this thing about number nines but Toey has got sixteen goals. That's where our goals come from.
"I thought we left him (Toey) isolated at times I thought first half. We wanted our midfielders latching onto him and I don't think we did that well enough. I think we sat off a little bit too deep for me specially out two eights.
"He was a nuisance when balls went up, he made it difficult for their centre-halves to win clear headers so when they knock things down he could pick up second balls and he's got good movement, he stretches lines and presses well. A really good performance from him.
"Andre(?) wasn't in today so we needed something a bit different up top and he gave us that."
Gowling dropped Krystian Pearce to the bench and started Jamie Egan instead.
"Dropping Pearce was a tactical shift. Jamie has been chomping at the bit. He came on the other week here and set up a goal.
"We've got a squad so we've used him today and it worked out quite well.
"Krystian has been in the dressing room, he's been pushing the lads on, he was talking to the lads at half time, getting them going.
"He's a model pro, he understands we're going to rotate from time to time.
"Jamie was excellent. I surprised he is not sorted at Bristol, he's in his apprenticeship. He reads the game well, has got good pace about him, he's tenacious in tackles, he wins his headers and he talks and organises. Really pleased with him."
It's three points for the Bulls but there's more to play for at Gloucester on Monday.
" You can look at it that way or you can look at it we've jumped up a place and we're joint tenth.
"You go and win on Monday and someone else loses you are one point off, and that's how we look at it.
"It's in our hands, we've just got to keep winning games and grind these games out and grind wins out. One of them will slip up, York or Boston will slip up. And when they do we'll be there waiting."
It's a different surface at Gloucester on Monday.
"They are not a bad side, we played them here, they are decent, they get the ball down and play. They lost 1-0 today but at the moment they are probably losing games by fine margins.
"We know it is going to be a tough game so we've trained on 4G a little bit lately just to make sure we're ready for the surface so we're going to go there and again we're going to take it to them and try and get a victory.
"There's going to be big support down there, it's a derby. Our travelling fans are excellent. Even if we only get three of them there they're loud and they sing. I know there's going to be more than three there but they are brilliant.
"We'll probably play a bit more free-flowing football away from home so anyone who hasn't seen us away from home come to the game because you might see a bit more football than you did today."
What's happened to striker Mo Faal?
"I just think he's missed a bit of form. He probably not doing some of the things I want to do and I think you'll find with lads we bring in they probably come out of teams for a period and then come back in when they've done what we've asked.
"He's a great lad, he's got good attitude, he works hard in training and he'll get his opportunities. He's got to work hard in training to make sure when the next opportunity comes he can take it."
Miles Storey back in training?
"He's not training he's jogging, there's a bit of a difference. He's been doing some straight line running which is good, three quarter pace.
"I've done a grade two hamstring and you can't do that with a grade two hammy so we're pleased. We'll probably look at the County Cup game to get minutes in fingers crossed. If he carries on progressing the way he is then hopefully he'll be in contention after that."
